START WITH CULTURE arises from the common belief that music and culture have the power to connect people regardless of their differences. In 2020 during the global pandemic crisis, the founders of SWC felt the urgent need to put their experience and knowledge into a sustainable structure to raise awareness and create an effective network of people working together in the African music sector and beyond. They established the non-profit organization START WITH CULTURE to create positive change through music and culture, by connecting professionals and creating visions and strategies for and with artists to build sustainable careers for them on a global scale and market
